In the conversation, WQXR spoke with Bob Campbell  of Fisher Dachs Associates, the project team behind the theater planning of the new hall, and asked him to set visitors on an architectural scavenger hunt of the new David Geffen Hall.

Campbell pointed out the 22 stage lifts that can each support thousands of pounds, the 10 acoustic reflectors over the musicians, and the 47 “fireflies” dancing below the stage reflectors. He also mentioned the bronze metal railings that are tipped at an angle to allow for better sight lines, and the hidden projection booth that comes out of the back wall of the hall for performances like Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets™ In Concert.
