Audiovisual Systems Design
Our work in AV design includes a well-thought-out response to flexibility and future-proofing.

FDA designs complete audiovisual systems to meet the demands of today’s film, video, and performing arts and entertainment projects, as well as for corporate environments. We design systems that meet current requirements and have the flexibility to adapt to future possibilities as technologies and artistic visions evolve.
Our flexibility in AV design includes a well-thought-out response to planned obsolescence. The reality of the acceleration of AV systems development means that whatever we see today will be superseded by new equipment in a matter of years or even months. All types of equipment need to be supported within the infrastructure of the building. The facility and its venues must be able to accept, integrate, and incorporate new technologies when they become available.
We work closely with equipment manufacturers to develop inventive new approaches to meet project-specific requirements and apply our knowledge of the marketplace to make creative use of existing technologies. As an independent and objective consultant, FDA strives to ensure that audiovisual systems meet the technical requirements, budget guidelines, and manufacturer preferences of the client.
